Step 1 Go to the playlist, album, or podcast you want to download.

Step 2 Tap the down-arrow icon to download.

Note: On Android, tap 'Download' to download an album or playlist. When you see a green down arrow, it means that the download has been completed successfully.

Step 3 Navigate to Your Library, Settings, Playback, and enable Offline.

Things You Should Know About Spotify Offline Mode:

  • 1) It’s not possible to download albums or podcasts in the desktop app.
  • 2) You can download up to 10,000 songs on a maximum of five different devices.
  • 3) In Offline Mode, you can only play the music you’ve downloaded.
  • 4) To begin downloading, an internet connection is required. You need to go online at least once every 30 days to keep your music and podcasts downloaded.
