Sidify Music Converter
Spotify is the most popular music streaming service in the world, with more than 422 million monthly active users worldwide.
It’s a free service. Spotify Free users can access ad-supported Spotify songs in lower audio quality, while Premium users can listen to ad-free and high-quality Spotify songs. Besides, Spotify Free users are limited to accessing Spotify songs with a network connection all the time, while Spotify Premium users are able to download Spotify songs for offline listening.
In this article, we are going to show you how to use Spotify in offline mode with a premium account step by step. Moreover, we are going to introduce you to a simple yet efficient way to listen to Spotify offline without a premium.
If you are a Spotify paid user, you can use Spotify in offline mode to enjoy Spotify songs offline.
Before you can go offline, you'll need to download the music so that it's available without an internet connection. Now let’s see more details:
Step 1 Go to the playlist you want to download.
Step 2 Switch Download on, when you see a small green arrow, it means that the download has been completed successfully.
Step 3 Open Spotify, click File in the Windows menu at the top of the screen, and select Offline Mode.
Note: If you are a Mac user, click Spotify in the Apple menu at the top of the screen and select Offline Mode.
Step 1 Go to the playlist, album, or podcast you want to download.
Step 2 Tap the down-arrow icon to download.
Note: On Android, tap 'Download' to download an album or playlist. When you see a green down arrow, it means that the download has been completed successfully.
Step 3 Navigate to Your Library, Settings, Playback, and enable Offline.
Tips: If you’d like to download Spotify music without limits, you can move to Part 2, which also works for Spotify Premium subscribers.
If you are a Spotify Free user, you are not able to download Spotify music as paid subscribers do, but you can turn to Sidify – a popular third-party tool to save Spotify songs as MP3/AAC/WAV/FLAC/AIFF/ALAC local files so that you can listen to them offline.
Next, we are going to show you how to use Sidify Music Converter to download songs from Spotify Free so that you can listen to Spotify music offline without a premium account.
For Mac users, please refer to How to Download Spotify Playlists on Mac.
