1. What are the differences between Sidify and other Spotify converter tools?

Sidify Music Converter is specially designed for converting Spotify song, playlist, podcast and radio to MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF or ALAC format. It is the fastest Sidify Music Converter, which can convert Spotify music at 10X faster speed as well as keep 320kbps output quality. Furthermore, it can also keep and edit ID3 tags, burn Spotify music to CD and export Spotify music to iTunes as required.

2. I have received the code. How to register Sidify?

3. I'm getting "Invalid Code". What should I do?

[1] Please make sure that you are running the right program.

[2] Extra spaces are accidentally added while filling in your e-mail and code. Please check whether there are spaces before or after the registration info.

If you still get the Error Message, please contact our support team via [email protected] for help.

4. Why can I only convert the first minute of each audio?

It's the limitation of free trial version. To unlock the restriction, please purchase a license.

5. What kind of music does Sidify support converting and exporting to?

Currently Sidify Music Converter is specially designed for converting Spotify songs, playlists and podcasts to MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF or ALAC format.

6. What is the difference among Intelligent Mode, Record Mode, YouTube Mode and WebPlayer Mode?

Intelligent Mode is a combination of Spotify Record Mode (or WebPlayer Mode) and YouTube Download Mode. When you choose "Intelligent Mode" in Sidify setting window, the conversion rate would be increased a lot thus you can get the Spotify tracks as needed.

Record Mode: Songs will be recorded from Spotify desktop app, outputting the highest sound quality.

YouTube Mode: Download the music at the fastest speed.

WebPlayer Mode: Kindly switch to this mode when it goes wrong with other modes. It is to download the streaming music from Spotify Web Player.

7. Can I convert my entire playlist from Spotify?

Definitely. You can export all the songs in your Spotify playlist in a single go by dragging and dropping the playlist from Spotify to Sidify.

8. How to sort out the output audios by Artist / Album folders?

Launch Sidify and click "Settings" in the upper right corner, where you can choose how you'd like the output files to be organized - "Artist/Album", "Artist", "Album", "Album/Artist" or "None".

9. The volume of some converted songs are lower than the volume of original ones. Is there any way to improve it?

If you want to download the songs in full volume, we suggest you change the setting in Spotify. The most important thing is to uncheck the "Set the same volume level for all songs“ box in Spotify.

10. I'm getting a Failed error code - Failed 10**, Failed 110*, Failed 120*, Failed 170*, Failed 4***, or Failed 6208. How can I fix it?

[1] Failed 1000:

Cause: Unknown error.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify and select YouTube Download mode for a try.


[2] Failed 1005:

Cause: Failed to open encoder.

Solution: Please re-launch Sidify for a try.


[3] Failed 1007:

Cause: Your Spotify account is playing audios on another device.

Solution: Please make sure you are selecting "This Computer" to play the audio on Spotify.


[4] Failed 1010:

Cause: Conversion failed.

Solution: Please choose another output format or select Spotify Record mode for a try.


[5] Failed 1101:

Cause: Failed to initiate the app.

Solution: Please re-start Sidify for a try. Should the problem persist, please re-install the Spotify app from its’ official website to check whether the issue can be fixed.


[6] Failed 1102:

Cause: Failed to play.

Solution: 1) Please make sure you are using the latest version of both Sidify and the Spotify app. 2) Please make sure the original audio files can be played normally on Spotify. 3) Please check whether your computer is connected to any external speakers, Bluetooth devices, etc. If it is, please disconnect it for a try.


[7] Failed 1106:

Cause: The current PC has no audio output device, and the music cannot normaly play.

Solution: Please check the connection of the audio peripheral device. You can also try to check the music can be played normally in the official app. If everything is alright, try to convert it again.


[8] Failed 1200:

Cause: The actual duration is less than the acquired duration.

Solution: Please try again later.


[9] Failed 1201:

Cause: The conversion is done but the converted file is empty.

Solution: Please try again later.


[10] Failed 1700, 1701 or 1702:

Cause: There’s no search result under YouTube Download mode.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify and select Spotify Record mode for a try.


[11] Failed 4000, 4001, 4101 or 4102:

Cause: Files do not exist.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify, change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section.


[12] Failed 4002, 4100, 4103, 4104 or 4105:

Cause: No permissions to read or write.

Solution: Please run the program as Administrator and change the output path for a try.


[13] Failed 4003:

Cause: Insufficient disk space.

Solution: Please make sure there’s enough disk space in the output directory.


[14] Failed 4004:

Cause: The file path is too long.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify, change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section.


[15] Failed 4005:

Cause: The path format may contain special characters, trailing space or dot.

Solution: Please change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section for a try. Please provide us with the link if there are special characters in the song title, artist or album.


[16] Failed 4106:

Cause: The file is too large and exceeds the FAT disk format limit.

Solution: Please set the output directory to a non-FAT formatted disk.


[17] Failed 6208:

Cause: Get player timeout.

Solution: Please re-launch Sidify for a try.


11. My Spotify account is banned. What should I do?

You can get your account back by contacting the support and confirming that you are no longer engaging in the content downloads.


12. I encounter some problem that I can't find any solution in FAQ. How can I get technical support?

If the solutions above cannot fix the issues, please sent the following information to our support team at [email protected] via e-mail. We'll submit your feedback to our developers and inform you once the solution is available.

  • 1. Which Windows OS are you using? Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11? 32 bits or 64 bits?
  • 2. What's the conversion mode, output format and settings you choose?
  • 3. Please send us the log files of Sidify. You can find them by going to the Sidify program, Menu > Open log file > logs. They are named record.log, Sidify Music Converter.log and spotify.log.
