Spotify, offering over 70 million tracks, is one of the most popular platforms to stream music online. It’s a freemium service. Spotify Free users can access the massive music library (ad-supported) for free at 160kbps while Spotify Premium subscribers can enjoy ad-free Spotify music at higher audio quality. Moreover, with Spotify Premium, you can download music from Spotify for offline listening. This is great for a long flight or if you don’t want to consume data to stream music when a stable network is not available.
It’s rather easy to download music from Spotify to the Spotify app for offline playback. Just open the Spotify app, go to the playlist you want to download and click the Download button. The toggle turns green and the playlist will immediately start downloading. To access your downloaded Spotify playlist on your computer, go to Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Offline Songs Storage, and from there, you should be able to see the location of your downloaded songs.
